About the role
The IT Lab is looking for a motivated and professional IT Field Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working hands-on, supporting clients onsite, and delivering high-quality managed IT and cyber security solutions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving our clients’ IT infrastructure while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver onsite technical support to clients across multiple industries
- Install, configure and maintain workstations, servers, networking equipment and peripheral devices
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues efficiently
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 environments, including user management and security policies
- Assist with firewall, networking and cyber security implementations
- Perform system upgrades, patch management and preventative maintenance
- Participate in project deployments, migrations and infrastructure improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation of support tickets, configurations and client environments
- Provide clear, professional communication to clients regarding issues and resolutions
- Ensure all work aligns with The IT Lab’s security and service standards
