Backup & Disaster Recovery

Back to work by Monday — whatever happens on Friday.

Disaster recovery and data backup services that give your business peace of mind. Office fire, ransomware, deleted folder — recover fast, with minimal disruption.

Restore test · Q3 2025

Don’t put your business at risk. Choose the right managed backup and DR solution for your organisation.

We provide a range of disaster recovery and data backup services so that even when something unfortunate happens — an office fire, a flooded comms room, a ransomware attack — your business can get back to work quickly. Every backup is tested. Every recovery objective is documented. Every restore is rehearsed.

What we cover

Layered protection for the data that runs your business.

Local snapshots for speed, offsite copies for safety, immutable cloud vaults for ransomware. Tested, reported and ready when you need them.

Server & VM backup

Image-level backups of physical and virtual servers with application-aware snapshots for SQL, Exchange and Active Directory.

Microsoft 365 backup

Independent, point-in-time backups of Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams. Recover a deleted item or a whole tenant.

Immutable cloud vault

Air-gapped, immutable copies in the cloud. Even an attacker with admin credentials cannot delete or encrypt them.

Disaster recovery as a service

Hot standby in the cloud. If your primary site is down, we spin up your critical systems within an agreed RTO.

Tested restores

We run scheduled restore tests every quarter, document the results and share them with your board or auditor.

DR runbooks

A written recovery plan per system — who, what, when, in what order. Rehearsed annually, updated continuously.

Frequently asked

Common questions, answered.

Isn’t Microsoft 365 already backed up?

No. Microsoft replicates data for availability, but it doesn’t protect against accidental deletion, malicious deletion or ransomware encryption. You need a third-party backup — and Microsoft says so in their own documentation.

How often is data backed up?

Most workloads back up every hour, with critical systems every 15 minutes. The schedule is tuned to your recovery point objective, which we agree upfront based on how much data you can afford to lose.

How is data protected against ransomware?

Immutable cloud copies. Once written, the backup cannot be modified or deleted for a defined retention period, even by an administrator. Attackers can’t take out your last line of defence.

Can you recover individual files, not just whole servers?

Yes. File-level, mailbox-level, even single-message recovery. Most everyday restores are done within minutes through the help desk.
