The ground rules for using this website. Paid services are covered by a separate Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work — these terms apply to the website only.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the website at itlab.gi (the "Site") and any free resources we publish on it. They are between you and The IT Lab Limited, a company registered in Gibraltar.
Paid services we deliver to customers are governed by a separate Master Services Agreement and accompanying Statement of Work — not by these website terms.
2. Using the site
You may use the Site for lawful, personal or business purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in a way that breaches any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or our systems
- Use any automated tool to scrape, harvest or replicate the Site’s content at scale
- Upload or transmit any material that contains malware, is defamatory, or infringes anyone’s rights
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
3. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, design and code — is owned by The IT Lab or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own non-commercial reference, but you may not reproduce, redistribute or modify the content without our written permission.
4. Accuracy of information
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on the Site accurate and up to date. However, the content is provided for general information only and does not constitute professional or contractual advice. You should not rely on it without taking specific advice from us under a paid engagement.
5. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and resources. We provide these for convenience only. We have no control over the content or availability of those sites, and we accept no responsibility for them.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations — express or implied — including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither The IT Lab nor its directors, employees or contractors will be liable for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts, or anticipated savings
- Loss or corruption of data, software or systems
- Any indirect, consequential or special loss of any kind
Our total liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site shall not exceed £100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Gibraltar law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Gibraltar. Any dispute arising under or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gibraltar.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you use the Site applies. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we make changes.
